NEWS

Change to clubs:

Since October, club time has become increasingly unsafe. Because of this, we will have structured recess from 3:25-3:50. Due to upcoming events, drama and eSports will still meet. Other clubs will be at the teacher’s discretion. If you would like to support our new structured recess time, please reach out to the main office.

Attendance Updates

Attendance: Let's Hit 93%!

Our current attendance is 86%, and we need your help to reach our 93% goal. To support our students and ensure a safe, focused learning environment, DCIS MS is implementing the following:

Attendance Support: If a student misses 2+ days in a week, our team will reach out via phone or home visit to problem-solve together.

Classroom Focus: All classrooms are phone-free zones. Phones and earbuds must be placed in the designated classroom box upon entry.

Staying on Track: We are conducting random hallway checks. Students skipping class (including during clubs) will face the following protocol:

1st–2nd Offense: Lunch Reset & family notification.

3rd Offense: Family meeting & Attendance Agreement.

4th–5th Offense: ISS or Saturday School.

Report an Absence: Call 720-423-9101 with the student’s name, ID, grade, and reason. For general questions, contact us at 720-423-9000.
