All 8th Grade Families: DPS Belonging Begins Here Event
As we look toward the 2026-2027 academic year, ensuring a seamless transition for our rising 6th and 9th graders is critical to long-term student persistence and belonging. Families and incoming students are invited to attend Belonging Begins Here, a district-wide community event designed to anchor students in their new school communities before Day 1.

Calling all middle school parents – job shadow partners needed!
Help our middle schoolers explore their future by connecting us with local professional opportunities! We are looking for businesses and organizations to host up to six rising 7th and 8th graders for a single half-day job shadow between June 9th and July 2nd. During these visits, partners lead a tour, share their career journeys, and provide a glimpse into their daily work.
