Next Parent Meeting: 9/17 and 9/18
Please join us on 9/17 (3:15 - 4:00pm) or 9/18 (7:30 - 8:00am) for our next Cowell Parent Meeting on the importance of Attendance! This will be for all ECE-5th grade parents.

DPS App:
We are in need of all parents downloading the DPS app below in order to communicate with families. All DPS families will use the same app to streamline communication.
At the end of September the class with the highest amount of families on the app will win a pizza party!
The classroom with the most Guardian sign ups on the DPS app will win a PIZZA PARTY!!
Safety:
If you are inside the school for breakfast or are leaving the school, please do not open doors for any other adult or student. We must follow the protocol of buzzing anyone into the office so we know where everyone is at all time.
Illnesses:
We understand that the beginning of the year can bring on lots of illnesses and germs.
Please be sure to call the office with any absent related reason.
We can also schedule clinic visits with our nurse to help consult you back to health.
Lunch from home
Reminder: Due to being extremely short-staffed, if your student is bringing lunch from home, it must be sent with them in the morning. If you need to drop it off, you must come at their scheduled lunchtime, sign in, and wait in the cafeteria to give it to them.

Please keep your phone number and email up to date to receive our text messages and emails. You can do so by stopping by in the office or logging into your parent portal account.
