Our 3rd - 5th graders have lots of awesome programs after school. If they are signed up for one of the following, please be sure to remember the day of the activity:

Monday: Basketball Practice

Tuesday: Kindness Club

Wednesday: Basketball and Band Practice

Thursday: Choir 

*Girls on the Run will be Monday/Wednesday starting in March - more details to come

Reminder that students will be picked up at the end of their practice from the Vrain Street Doors (closest to the cafeteria)

Band Member Parents: Please be sure your child has their instrument on Wednesdays when they arrive at school.

This month we are testing out a whole school assembly to have some fun and celebrate the awesomeness.

On February 27th from 8:00am - 11:30 (K-5) and 12:30-4:00pm (ECE) classroom teachers will be holding select parent teacher conferences. Please keep an eye out for parent communication from your child’s homeroom teacher with details. 

Students from Kindergarten to 5th grade are focusing on improving our hallway behavior and expectations. At Cowell we follow H.A.L.L. with:

H - Hands Controlled

                A - All Eyes Forward

                L - Legs Under Control

                L - Lips Closed

This is a reminder that ECE dismissal is at 2:45 PM. This means you must be at your student’s designated dismissal door/area right at 2:45 PM.

At 2:55 PM, your child is considered late for pick-up. If you arrive at or after 2:55 PM, please stop by the main office, ring the doorbell, and let office staff know you are picking up an ECE student and provide the teacher’s name. You will then return to the designated pick-up area for your child’s class.
