Cheltenham Elementary doors open at 7:20 a.m., even in cases of inclement weather. We are unable to provide safe coverage for students before this time. In the case of inclement weather at arrival, we will open the doors at 7:20 a.m. and have students move to the cafeteria until 7:25 a.m., when classrooms will open. Students will grab breakfast on the way to class. In the case of inclement weather at dismissal, we reserve the need to 'hold' students in the building in the case of unsafe weather conditions. In other cases, please go to your students' regular pick-up location. Teachers will dismiss students individually from the building door when they see students' caregivers.
Voices of Soul, Beats of Joy is coming to Lake Middle School
On Saturday, October 18, Lake Middle School will host Voices of Soul, Beats of Joy, a celebration of student artistry, excellence, and community. Families and community members from across Denver are invited, and we are especially excited that artwork from our 5th graders will be showcased in a special student art gallery at the event.

Families can enjoy workshops centered on literacy, creativity, and making music, along with exciting book giveaways, inspiring student poets and performers, and a free lunch for all attendees.
