Families, we are excited to invite all 2nd-5th grade students to Saturday School starting Saturday, January 17th 9:00-12:00! Saturday School will run every Saturday (except 02/28, 04/11, 05/02, and 05/33). Each Saturday, students will participate in:

January Birthday Celebrations - Jan. 30 |
On January 30th we will have classroom celebrations for all January Birthdays. If your child is celebrating a January birthday, they are welcome to bring a treat for their class. |
On February 5th, we will have NAEP testing for 30 randomly-selected fourth graders. Please make sure your fourth grade student arrives to school on time that day. |

Testing Dates: - Jan. 26th-30th All students who are required to test have received a letter at school. If you are unsure whether your child is required to test, please feel free to contact the school office for clarification. Please note that all MLL (multi-lingual learning) students will participate in testing.
Important Reminders: - Please ensure that your child arrives on time for testing. - Chromebooks should be fully charged and ready for use. Thank you for your attention to these details. Know Your Rights Information |
Dear Cheltenham Families, We are sending home “Know Your Rights” cards with every student. These cards provide essential information about your rights under U.S. law, including your right to a free public education and protections regardless of immigration status. If your family doesn’t need the card, we encourage you to pass it along to a friend or neighbor who may benefit.
Additionally, if you’d like more cards, please call the school office or have your child come by to pick up extras. These cards, created by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC), are a helpful tool in asserting your rights in various situations, such as encounters with law enforcement. We recommend that everyone carry one of these cards to stay informed and prepared. Important Resources:

The Park People’s Denver Digs Trees program offers free* and low-cost trees to all Denver residents. Choose from a dozen climate-appropriate species and help grow shade in Denver!

Let the games begin at Game Together! Game Together is a program held at the Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales Branch every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Explore games of all kinds with friends, families, and neighbors. Come play board games, video games, cards, and classics. There's a game for everyone, from Super Smash Bros to Bananagrams! Enjoy trying something new, meeting someone new, and connecting with library folks through fun.
