Cheltenham Elementary
In-Person Registration Info
If you do not have computer access or your address has changed, you will need to come to Cheltenham to complete your student’s registration/verification. We’ll have registration at Cheltenham on
August 4th from 9:00am-12:00pm
August 5th from 3:00-6:00pm
August 7th from 9:00 am-12:00 pm
August 11th from 3:00-6:00pm
August 12th from 9:00am-12:00pm
If your address has changed or you're a new family, please bring a proof of address (current Xcel or water bill or lease or mortgage statement), and if your child has had additional immunizations please bring an updated record. Otherwise all you’ll need are names and phone numbers for anyone you want to be on your child’s emergency/pick up list. For new families, please make sure to bring your child's birth certificate, this will not be kept on record and only a visual verification will occur. For ECE families, please make sure to print and fill out this ECE Registration Packet.

Online Registration Info
Online Registration for the 2025-26 school year opened July 28, 2025.
You must have a Parent Portal account to register online. If you need to open a Parent Portal account so you can do online registration, as well as have access to other important information about your student throughout their years in DPS, go to myportal.dpsk12.org and click on 'Create an Account'.
You will need your student’s DPS ID# to start your account. You can call Cheltenham's office at 720-424-8810 to get your student’s ID# after July 28th. If you forgot your password click on the forgot password link.
If you have any other trouble logging in (you must log in at least once every six months to keep your account active), you can ask for help by emailing portalteam@dpsk12.org or calling the portal hotline at 720.423.3163. Only the caregivers in the primary household can do registration.

School Supplies
We ask all families to contribute $20 per student for school supplies for the 2025-26 school year. This can be paid at in-person registration, Meet the Teacher, Back to School Night, with our front office staff, or sent with students the first weeks of school.

Meet the Teacher
Join us on Friday, August 15th at the Cheltenham playground! Families will have an opportunity to meet their Superhero's teacher and classmates for this year, drop off any medications or supplies, and hear from and chat with Mrs. Bohanan, our new principal.
