Checking for Grades & Attendance |
We are winding down the year and have many exciting events occurring. In addition, please be sure you are checking for your Friday emails with your students' grades/attendance and using the parent portal to make sure your students are on track to pass all of their classes. |
We are currently planning for the upcoming year and would like family feedback on some potential new ideas to support students making great decisions. Would you take a few minutes and complete this survey? Thanks for helping us create the best learning environment for your students. |

If your student is between 85 and 90% attendance, we encourage you to please help them be at school everyday for the rest of the semester. This will help them get out of the federal chronically absent category which is important for interventions for them next year and will also support them in having the strongest grades possible as we finish the year. |
We want to celebrate our Grizzly girls soccer team who advanced to the state playoff this week. They lost a tough game to Granby on Wednesday night. Congratulations on a great season! |
The baseball season is winding down. You can stop out Monday for a double header for the baseball team with West and the battle of the Eastside with Manual. Come cheer the Grizzlies on! |
Graduation will take place on May 28th at 2pm at the National Western Complex. Bruce will not have classes that day for any students. All families and Bruce students are invited to attend the ceremony and celebrate the class of 2026. |
Early Bird registration is open from now until May 22nd. This is an easy time to complete all registration materials for your student for next year. To complete early bird registration, please use parent portal myportal.dpsk12.org |
Field Day & 8th Grade Field Trip - May 22 |
On May 22nd we will have field day for 6th, 7th, 9th-11th grade students. If you would be interested/willing to volunteer, we would love the help in creating a fun day for our students.
8th graders will do their celebratory field trip to Elitch Gardens. If you might be interested in supporting as a chaperone or volunteering on Field Day, please reach out to Ms. Lozoya - sara_lozoya@dpsk12.net

We have a number of items in the lost and found as we approach the end of the year. Please make sure you are having your student check to make sure they haven’t left any jackets, hoodies, etc. All items are donated at the end of the year. |
Survey about our Community for the City of Denver |
The City of Denver Survey #1 for the Triangle Community Vision Plan is now live for members of the community! This is the first of three surveys in the planning process. Co-created with community partners and residents, the survey aims to better understand lived experiences and help shape future decisions for the Triangle.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will close on May 9.
