From now through April 10, families can complete the Behavioral and Emotional Screening System (BESS) survey to help support student well-being. Please take a few minutes to fill it out โ€” your input makes a difference!

Attendance

Our attendance was down significantly in the month of February. Please encourage your student to be in school every day as we want to hit our 90% goal for the month of March. Huge shout-out to our 6th grade who is leading the middle school and our 12th grade that is leading the high school.

Saturday School

Saturday school is taking place the next three Saturdays from 8:30am - 11:30am. If your student is failing, please have them come to school as we want to make sure they are on-track for the remainder of the semester.

Spring Forward

This weekend we know we will spring forward as part of Daylight savings time. Please support your students in adjusting their bedtime in order to help them be their best at school. We also know that changing the clocks can have an impact on student mental health. If you would like more information about mental health resources available at Bruce or through the Denver Health Clinic, please reach out so that we can connect you to those resources.

Middle School Sports

Varsity girls soccer and baseball are under way! If your student is interested, they should check in with Mr. Botello.

Middle School registration for girls soccer and boys baseball is now open and will start in a few weeks. If your student is interested in either of those, check in with Ms. Cinthya for support in getting registered.

Girls and boys Middle School basketball are home this week on Tuesday and Thursday. Boys baseball opens at home today and Girls soccer at home tomorrow.
