A quick shoutout to our Grizzly team! We are thrilled that our Bruce soccer team won in the 2nd round of the CHSAA state play-offs with a 6-0 win last evening. Grizzlies are in the driver's seat in the semi-final round match to be played at Western University Campus (Gunnison, CO) on Wednesday at 5 pm. Good Luck Grizzlies!
We will have our 2025 Open House to recruit new 6th and 9th graders on Thursday, November 20th from 5-6pm. Please let your friends and neighbors know as we'd love to continue to see Bruce grow!
We are working to support students and families during the government shutdown and the lapse in benefits for some families. If your family needs support with food, clothing, or another item, please reach out to Miriam Lara - 720-424-1112. We are working with a partner who will drop off 100 meal bags every other Friday and have resources through the Community Hub to support. Please check out the links below for additional resources
We are currently below our school goal of 90% attendance. We have noticed that our Friday attendance is 5% below our Wednesday attendance. Please support your students by making sure they are in school each Friday. Thanks for helping your student stay on track academically by being in school each day.
Please have a conversation with your student about their electronics. Cell phones and headphones should not be seen during the school day. This includes in pockets. Students who are on their 2nd or greater offense will require that an adult come to collect it when they have to turn it in.
Please remind your students that they cannot ride scooters at Bruce Randolph. When they arrive, they should park their scooters in order to ensure the safety of students, educators, and visitors to our campus. Thanks for you assistance.
Students will be attending the 8th Grade Career Fair on Thursday, November 13th. Students will have an opportunity to visit with people from around the city of Denver about their interests and opportunities to prepare for those careers now and in high school.
If your students are in 9th - 11th grade, they should have received their PSAT scores in their email from the October assessment. Students will be talking about these scores and next steps in our November Culture Day.
Moving forward, on testing days and culture days, students with C's and above have the opportunity to leave early and/or arrive at school after student support time. In order to have your student excused, you will need to complete a paper form giving your student permission. All other students will be required to stay unless you come pick them up on an early release day.
When these days occur, buses will run at normal time and we will communicate with you via the newsletter, social media, etc. These forms are available in the main office for your student to pick up and bring home for you to sign.
