Dear Team DPS,

Today is School Communicators Day and I want to take the opportunity to thank our school communicators and public relations professionals for their daily commitment to inform, engage and connect our employees, families and community. Thank you for the incredible work you do.

School communicators play an important role in shaping, sharing and managing DPS’ system messages through direct communication, media, design, websites, photography, video and more. Their work behind the scenes to ensure everyone has the information they need helps build trust and strengthens our school community. They make a real difference, whether it is sharing important updates, handling thousands of translation and interpretation requests or working with local media to highlight the amazing things happening in our classrooms.
